Getting Accepted to YCCC is stress free! Here's how you do it:

1) Set up an admissions appointment so we can learn about your educational/career goals.

2) Fill out the online application.

3) Request your official high school transcript, GED or HISET to be sent to the YCCC Admissions Office.

   ** If you have prior college credits, request official transcripts from your previous college(s).

4) Set up your Accuplacer Placement Test and/or Registration Appointment after receiving your acceptance letter.

College English (ENG 101) Test Score Placement:

PSAT/SAT Evidence Based Reading & Writing: 480+

ACT: 18+                                                                                                                                          

Next Gen Accuplacer: Combined 500 Reading & Writing (Reading minimum: 233)

HISET: 15+ in  Language Arts & Writing

MAT 127 College Algebra:

PSAT/SAT MATH: 500+

PSAT/SAT MATH: 480 with full year of senior high school year college prep math

Next Gen Accuplacer Quantitative Reasoning: 250-275

ACT: 19 with senior high school math or 20 without senior high school math

HISET Mathematics: 15+

MAT122 Finite Math/MAT 109 Elements of Math:

PSAT/SAT Math: 480+

PSAT/SAT Math: 450 with a full year of senior math

Next Gen Quantitative Reasoning: 230-249

ACT: 17 with senior high school math or 18 without senior high school math

Degree Seeking Students:

1)  If you are interested in majoring in one of our degree or certificate programs, fill out an online application (The link is listed at the bottom of the page). 

2)  Submit your official high school transcript or GED/HISET to the Admissions Office.

3)  Submit any prior learning credits to the Admissions Office.

Non-degree seeking students do not need to fill out the application.  Call Enrollment Services at 207-216-4402 or 207-216-4492 to register with your payment and proof of any prerequisites (unofficial college transcript).
