Federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) Request for Emergency Assistance
Emergency grants authorized under the HEERF and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) are to assist currently attending YCCC students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Funds must be used for any component of students cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to the coronavirus, such as tuition and fees, food, housing, course materials, technology, health care (including mental health) and child-care expenses.
Please visit YCCC's Consumer Information page HERE for additional information regarding award amounts.
Completing this request form is not a guarantee of funding; each request will be reviewed and students will be notified of the status of their request.
YCCC Student ID:
What is the reason for your request for emergency assistance? (Answer yes or no to each category, to qualify, you must answer yes in at least one category.)
Tuition and Fees:
If you are awarded a Federal ARP Grant and you owe a bill to the college, do you want your grant to reduce your bill? (Your answer to this question will not determine your eligibility for a grant.)
Please indicate the amount of your request (enter the number with a decimal point but without a dollar sign, for example: 100.00).
(Note that because funds are limited and many students are experiencing emergency situations right now, we may not be able to provide you with the amount you request.)
If your request for funding is approved, a check will be mailed to the address shown below (all checks will be mailed and will not be available for pick up):
Do you wish to keep the address shown above? You have the option to change this address. If you choose to change your address, it will be changed for all college purposes (billing, grades, transcripts, etc).
By submitting this request for federal emergency funds under the CRRSAA, I attest and agree that the information provided on this request is true and that I have education related expenses or emergency costs due to the coronovirus pandemic.
