YCCC offers a variety of career and transfer-oriented degree programs as well as short-term career certificates that can serve as a stepping stone into a degree. Small classes, experienced faculty and a support staff that strives to help students achieve success are all hallmarks of  the YCCC experience.

Getting Accepted to YCCC is stress free! Here's how you do it:

1) Set up an admissions chat so we can learn about your educational/career goals.

2) Submit the online application at

3) Request your official high school transcript, GED or HISET to be sent to the YCCC Admissions Office.

   ** If you have prior college credits, request official transcripts from your previous college(s).

4) Set up your Accuplacer placement test and/or registration appointment after receiving your acceptance letter.

Accuplacer Information

Accuplacer/Registration appointments for degree-seeking students follow this timeline:

Summer terms(May & July) and Fall (September) semester: April until the start of classes.

Winter (2 week Jan.term) and Spring (January) semester: November until the start of classes.

Appointment Times:

Regular appointments are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am, 11:30am and 2:00pm. Mondays and Fridays are available upon request.

Non-Degree students may begin registration on April 15th (Summer/Fall) and November 15th (Winter/Spring).

YCCC offers 7 week condensed classes that run in the Fall, Spring and Summer for students who want to spread their class schedules out.

Interested in just taking a class as a non-degree student?
  Do not  fill out the application.   Call Enrollment Services at 207-216-4402 or 207-216-4492 to register with your payment and proof of any prerequisites (unofficial college transcript).

Application Instructions:
