YCCC offers a variety of career and transfer-oriented degree programs as well as short-term career certificates that can serve as a stepping stone into a degree. Getting Accepted to YCCC is stress free! Here's how you do it:

1) Set up an admissions chat so we can learn about your educational/career goals.

2) Submit the online application at

3) Request your official high school transcript, GED or HISET to be sent to the YCCC Admissions Office.

   ** If you have prior college credits, request official transcripts from your previous college(s).

4) Set up your Accuplacer placement test and/or registration appointment after receiving your acceptance letter.

Accuplacer Information

Accuplacer/Registration appointments for degree-seeking students in the Spring 2017 semester will begin on Wednesday November 3rd. Regular appointments are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am, 11:30am and 2:00pm. Mondays and Fridays are available upon request.

Non-Degree students may begin registration on November 15th.

The two week condensed Winter 2017 term runs January 3rd-January 13th.

The Spring 2017 semester runs January 17th to May 6th.

There are also 7 week Spring terms: January 17th to March 5th and March 20th to May 6th.

Interested in just taking a class?   You do not have to fill out the application. Just call Enrollment Services at 207-216-4402 or 207-216-4403 to register. You will have to make payment at time of registration and show proof of any prerequisites (unofficial college transcript).
Students interested in Veterinary Technology will apply into Liberal Studies/Veterinary Technology Prerequisites. Once students have completed all of their pre-admission requirements, the Vet Tech faculty member and Director of Admissions will approve the change of major to Veterinary Technology.
