Financial aid recipients who are expected to have a credit remaining after tuition and fees costs are covered can use the excess credit to purchase or rent books as well as purchase supplies from the YCCC Campus Bookstore using a book voucher.

Students can only use the book voucher for books and supplies which are required for educational purposes.

Students are expected to purchase required textbooks prior to purchasing other eligible items. As a reminder, book vouchers may include student loan funds which must be repaid; therefore, you should consider your purchases carefully.

Book Voucher Amounts and Schedule

*Some exceptions may apply to these amounts if student needs purchase a laptop through the bookstore.  These amounts will be based on your credit balance available in your individual aid package.  These exceptions need to be reviewed by the financial aid office on a case-by-case basis. 

Book vouchers are available during the following periods. All purchases must be made during the book voucher period, including purchases for courses which begin later in the term.
