The computer science/information technology work study will spend approximately 25-30% of their time tutoring other CIS students. These duties will not only include helping students understand the given assignment, but also providing textbook and online resources to assist the student.  Additionally, the work study student will work with the CS/IT department and the Student Learning Center to create written documents and resources for curent and future CIS students.

  • The Presidential Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for YCCC students to be part of the College’s public information team. They will attend community and college events as well as serving as an informal advisor to the office of the President of the College.

     To be selected, participants must be:

    • Enrolled in at least 6 credits and GPA of 2.5 or higher
    • Well-groomed and an articulate speaker
    • Able to serve for the whole academic year (October 2017-May 2018)

Work is preformed under the general supervision of the instructor and Department Chair.
