Transfer articulation agreements are formal academic partnerships between institutions to accept credits in transfer toward a specific academic program. Ideally, they are very detailed down to the course-by-course or sometimes they are more general by accepting a maximum number of credits. For students to take advantage of a transfer agreement, they must graduate with their Associate's degree before transfer, meet grade requirements for each course, and often maintain a minimum GPA (see individual agreements for details).
Students please note that all colleges and university admission offices will review your transcript(s) and determine what courses/credits will transfer regardless of your program and if there is an articulation agreement or not.
It is important to be in contact with your potential transfer colleges as early in your academic career as possible. For more about the transfer process, please download and read "The Transfer Process
" on the Transfer Services home page.
